Our next session will be on Friday 12-2pm at Union Chapel, Waller Avenue, off Wellington Road, M14 6EQ. Wednesday sessions at The Place, Platt Library are cancelled from now on as the libraries are closing.

We are really grateful to the Parkrunners at Platt Fields who marked their 500th 5k run by donating toiletries to the Foodbank. We received 5 cratefuls and some cash and we gather there is more to come. Thank you!

We will be doing our annual Big Christmas Burnage Lane Tesco Collection on Thursday November 21st and Friday 22nd this year. Thank you to everybody who has donated to a Harvest Festival Collection for the Foodbank at their children’s school, at their church or at their workplace. We have had a marvellous boost to our stocks – especially of things we were short of. Thank you!

We spent £414.40 last month buying food and basic toiletries so that we can give everyone a balanced parcel. We are back up and running with our Saturday morning, 10am – 12 noon food distribution sessions at Holy Innocents Church. The church is on the corner of Wilbraham Road and Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield. The entrance to the Foodbank is now round the back, through the car park.
