An enormous shout of thanks to all of our generous donors who really excelled themselves around Christmas. The volunteers, Trustees and clients of the Foodbank are so grateful.
We were able to provide plenty of Christmas goodies on top of our usual food parcels for clients and we distributed a great deal of seasonal treats to many local people, including lots of children. All thanks to our donors.
The number of clients coming to the foodbank seems to be rising a little every week as we move further into the New Year. We are still very well supplied with food but our stocks are unbalanced. We have plentiful supplies of some things and we are buying in others. Our needs and gluts change regularly so please consult our ‘Wants’ list before you shop. You can find it on our ‘donate food‘ page and we update it whenever necessary.
