Update

26th October 2020

As we go into the Tier 3 restrictions, we give a massive thank you to all our donors and supporters and to the schools and churches that have made Harvest Festival donations.  So generous and thoughtful. And also to all our long-standing regular donors. The people of Fallowfield, Withington and Rusholme are WONDERFUL!

We are  seeing a gentle rise in the numbers of people coming to the Foodbank but we expect them to continue to go up and up as the impact of the changes to the furlough scheme and redundancies hit our local residents in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

We are well stocked for food – with gluts of pasta and beans etc! -at the moment but we are always short of UHT pure fruit juice and canned meals like chilli and curries. Our list of what we need is regularly updated; you can find it here:

Donate food

Please do come along to the Foodbank if you need help.  We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays 12 noon – 2pm at Union Chapel, Waller Avenue, off Wellington Road in Fallowfield.  Ring 07411 077654 to talk to our Project Manager for more information.

If you can’t get out and need a food delivery then ring the Manchester City Council’s  ‘Manchester Community Response’ on 0800 234 6123 or text on 07860 022 876.
